Reviews: What People Are saying about our Northern Light tours
This was my first trip to Alaska, and the one thing I had on my bucket list was being able to see the Northern Lights. Michael was great with communication the day of and arrived for pickup promptly at the hotel. On the way to our location, he even stopped for us to get a scenic photo op. Michael made us all feel welcome in his home, and as a fellow photographer, we were able to create a bond immediately. He took special care to make sure that we got the best possible viewing of the Northern Lights, and keepsake pictures as well. 5 out of 5 stars. Trust me, you're in great hands!

Wow did I get lucky and stumble upon the perfect tour! Michael was a wealth of information and not only gave multiple opportunities to take pics, he included a few with his camera and sends them to you! His home has big scenic windows that you can watch for activity comfortably and warm until you’re ready to venture out. There are coffee, cocoa, and water available, snacks, a clean bathroom, and comfortable seats. It was worth every penny and I’d retake his tour for sure! He has a field behind his house unobstructed from lights and you can see the northern lights clearly!

Michael was an amazing host. He takes you outside of Fairbanks and down to Delta Junction to his beautiful house to enjoy the lights. The weather did not corporate tonight at Delta Junction but that is part of chasing the lights. However, he did not give up. He drove us to a cloud clearing to experience this phenomenon. The lights did not disappoint. They were so amazing. I highly recommend people avoid the major tour company/ group in Fairbanks and hire Michael. You will not regret the decision.

Everything about our night on 3/22-23/2022 with Michael at Face The Outdoors was spectacular and special. The lodge is a super comfortable place to warm up, grab a hot drink and snack, and watch the aurora from the huge windows. The clear and unobstructed view from his property is the ideal outdoor place for viewing the aurora. He is an excellent photographer and took photos of all of us and shared the photos! I would highly recommend the experience with Michael and Face The Outdoors!!

This Aurora tour is fantastic! The lodge is the perfect spot to relax and stay warm while waiting for the aurora to appear. And the location is premium! Wide open skies to have the best viewing experience! This tour is the only one I found with a shuttle service, and is really the perfect tour option - you can't get lost if your guide is taking you there! I opted to rent a camera, and Michael helped me get the right settings to get the best possible images. He also took some really nice portraits of my husband and I under the lights that we'll keep forever! Michael goes above and beyond to provide a quality experience and will do just about anything to ensure you get to see the lights! 10/10 recommend!!
